Hospital foundation's newest boardmembers

Kevin Jaggie, Roger Nelson and Marcia Levy have joined the Sonoma Valley Hospital Foundation board of directors.

Marcia Levy brings to the board experience in marketing, strategic planning and organizational development. She was most recently a venture partner of Venture TDF and Vertex Management, venture capital firms based in Singapore. She previously was CEO of The Learning Company, vice president of Regis McKenna, and an executive at J. Walter Thompson and Procter and Gamble.  Since moving to Sonoma 10 years ago, Marcia and her husband, Jim, have been involved in the community.  She has served on the boards of The Sonoma Valley Film Society, Sonoma Jazz+, the Sonoma Valley Fund, and the Sonoma Valley Museum of Art. She also volunteered with La Luz and the Mentoring Alliance and was a Pulse Award honoree at the annual Celebration of Women.

Kevin Jaggie grew up in Sonoma.  His career in the investment management industry began at Merrill Lynch and with him now in his current role at Wells Fargo Advisors.  He has held many important positions in support of our community and families, including being a Board member and Chair at the Boys and Girls Club, Chair at the Sonoma Valley Education Foundation.  Kevin obtained his Bachelors degree from San Diego State University and is a Certified Financial Planner.  Together with his wife, Sanette, and their family, they call Sonoma home.

Roger Nelson is a 25 year resident of Sonoma Valley and President of Midstate Construction, a general contracting firm headquartered in Petaluma. Midstate Construction has built a number of projects in the Sonoma area including the Lynch Building, Firehouse Village, Sweetwater Spectrum, the Boys and Girls Club, and renovations to many others, including Sonoma Mission Inn.

Roger has served on the boards of Kenwood School, Sonoma Country Day, North Bay Industries and Associated General Contractors.  He is a registered Civil Engineer with multiple degrees in economics and engineering from Claremont McKenna and Stanford. 

The Sonoma Valley Hospital Foundation is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation founded in 1982 dedicated to bringing health and well being to the residents of Sonoma Valley through philanthropic and volunteer support for Sonoma Valley Hospital. In addition to the recent capital campaign, the SVH Foundation has raised more than $7 million from individual donors, charitable foundations and corporations to enhance medical services, equipment and programs, and to help cover the Hospital’s cost of caring for patients who could otherwise not afford to pay.
