Allen comes to the SCC following a recent artist’s residency at Truro Center for the Arts at Castle Hill. He has also studied at the Watershed Center for the Ceramic Arts in Maine.

Allen will teach an eight-week class in tile making on Friday mornings from January 23 – March 13. On June 5, SCC will hold an opening reception for the installation to be created during his residency.

KONICA MINOLTA DIGITAL CAMERASCC’s artist-in-residence program provides opportunities for self-directed, emerging or established artists to develop a cohesive body of work that reflects their time at SCC. Open to all artists living within the United States, the program culminates in a gallery exhibition at the completion of each residency.
