In a local tradition so exalted it’s nearing holiday status, the Valley of the Moon Certified Farmers’ Market opens the 2015 season on Tuesday, May 5.
City Councilmembers will cut the ceremonial ribbon, followed at 5:30 p.m. by the equally ceremonious ringing of the cowbell, the signal to start shopping for fruit, veggies and prepared food; grab a picnic spot, catch up with old friends and enjoy music by the Carlos Herrera Band. Sonoma Plaza.
