Last call for ‘Women’

Jakes' 1

“Jake’s Women,” the Neil Simon play directed locally by Joey Hoeber, rides some serious buzz into its final weekend in Andrews Hall. Cameron Stuckey plays the lead, a writer with a struggling marriage and propensity to converse with the women in his life, both real and imagined. Lots of laughs, of course, but more pathos, and tears, than the standard Simon effort. July 23-26, Thurs., Fri., Sat. at 8 p.m., and Sun., 2 p.m. 276 E. Napa St. $18-$26. Sonomaartslive.org. 707.974.1931.

Next up in the Sonoma Arts Live season: “Proof,” Aug. 20 – Sept. 5.
