Sonoma’s MacArthur Place, the award-winning luxury 64-room boutique hotel opened by developer Suzanne Brangham in 1998, is on the market.

“The hotel has never been more successful and I, along with our group of local investors, felt like it is the right time to sell and let new owners continue to build on the success of the property,” Brangham said.

The six-acre property at Broadway ad MacArthur includes Saddles Steakhouse, a full-service spa, pool, fitness center, and event facilities.

“When I first met with our investors nearly 19 years ago, I envisioned this as a 10-year venture and now we are approaching nearly two decades,” Brangham said. “That is a testament to our General Manager Bill Blum and our amazing team at the hotel, many of whom have been with us for 15 years or more.”

Brangham said she’s looking forward to retirement, “and having more time to spend on my love of art, painting, travel and visiting my grandchildren back east.”

CBRE Hotels, led by Mark McDermott and Henry Bose from CBRE’s San Francisco office, have been hired to sell the property.
