The nonprofit La Luz Center is revitalizing its Greger Street campus with a 2,400-square-foot building to replace and enlarge cramped, outdated office space.

In 2012, La Luz was awarded a $25,000 Impact100 grant to remodel its decades-old building to provide privacy for client interviews. Also recognizing the importance of offering suitable areas for La Luz clients and adequate working space for staff and volunteers, First 5 and Sonoma County Health Services made significant donations to the remodel effort.

Phase two of a $1.5 million capital campaign to complete the project is underway.
