The oh-so charming and talented chef and Bay Area celeb, Ayesha Curry, will serve as Grand Marshall of the upcoming GoPro Grand Prix of Sonoma on September 18.

Curry created a cult following with her cooking blog Little Lights of Mine and joined the Food Network as a guest judge on Guy’s Grocery Games and Chopped Junior. Soon, she’ll launch her own Food Network cooking show, Ayesha’s Homemade.

Her first cookbook, The Seasoned Life, will be released at the end of this month from Little, Brown and Company.

She’s quite the entrepreneur, maintaining her own line of olive oils, vinegars, and cooking accessories, and her own meal-delivery service. She has also partnered with Michael Mina to create International Smoke, a pop-up restaurant.

Basketball fans will also know Curry has the wife of Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry.

Steve Page, Sonoma Raceway president and general manager, boasted about Curry as Grand Marshall, “She has emerged over the last two years as one of the Bay Area’s most dynamic personalities and culinary stars, and she’ll be a perfect fit for such a high-energy event in the Sonoma Wine Country.”
