Vintage House tops national giving campaign

Posted on October 3, 2019 by Sonoma Valley Sun
Vintage House received a $30,000 check from the Home Instead Senior Care Foundation’s #Give65 Campaign a national online fundraising competition for senior serving organizations.

Vintage House, participating in the campaign for the first time, raised the most money in its class of any organization in the country.

“We are very happy and proud to support Vintage House’s efforts to serve the senior members of our community through our foundation,” said Jaime Peñaherrera, owner of Home Instead Senior Care.

The funds will support myRide, a program which expects to provide 5,000 rides to Sonoma Valley seniors in-need this year alone.

Peñaherrera presented the check to Vintage House Executive Director, Priscilla Call Essert at a September 25 reception.

‘We couldn’t be more grateful to all of the individuals that donated to support Vintage House in this social media fundraising challenge and, we are thrilled to receive matching support from the Home Instead Senior Care Foundation,” she said.

Home Instead Senior Care serves Napa/Solano Counties, and the City of Sonoma.
