Experts: Tap water is safe to drink

The Valley of the Moon Water District states that water is safe to drink. The agency said it is taking several steps to ensure the continued flow of water, and has developed protocols and back-up plans in case water operators become ill.
Municipal drinking water, including service to the City of Sonoma, is safe, according to experts at: The Environmental Protection Agency Centers for Disease Control, the World Health Organization and nonprofit organizations such as the Association of California Water Agencies.
