Art on the avenue

Outdoor art is springing up around Sonoma Valley, including this pop-up gallery along Highway 12 in the Springs, a show of 10 murals created by members of the Springs Creatives Group.
Meanwhile, the Sonoma Valley Arts Task Force has mounted a three-site “Heart of Sonoma” show, with works on display — for walk or drive-by viewing — on Sonoma Plaza, Sonoma Community Center and in the Springs on the highway at E. Thompson.
