Posted on July 24, 2020 by Sonoma Valley Sun

Postponed in March, and revamped as a collection of online-only presentations, the Sonoma International Film Festival rolls out version 2.0 — all digital, all streaming, July 30-Aug. 2.

Celebrating its 23rd year, the online showcase offers the best in new independent cinema from around the world with a robust lineup of 110 features, documentaries and short films that includes a selection of World, North American, U.S. and Northern California premieres from 26 countries.

Banksy and The Rise of Outlaw Art is part of the festival’s strong lineup of documentaries

“We took the opportunity in these unprecedented times to take SIFF’s particular brand of entertainment and community engagement and make it available online,” Festival Executive Director Kevin W. McNeely said. “Our Virtual festival allows passholders and film lovers to experience many more films than they would in person whenever they want without ever leaving the comfort of their homes.”

The full lineup is available a Sonomafilmfest.org
