Bryana Fleming is no ordinary house painter – she rendered this colorful mural on the side of a home on Lucas Avenue near Riverside Drive. An accomplished artist and muralist, Fleming was commissioned by Tim and Dana Taylor, who “wanted something light and positive and very floral – and something that would slow down speedy cars. We chose the poppies and zinnias together.”
Fleming is the daughter of two artists, and started painting at an early age. The El Verano piece took days to complete because of the level of detail and rendering, she said. “I hope it brings joy to those who see it.”
