Collecting donations of “gently touched” handbags and accessories for Pets Lifeline’s annual Tailwags and Handbags fundraiser are board members Elaine Smith and Anne Mieling. The co-chairs this year are overseeing the event as an online auction (starting April 26) and virtual luncheon on April 30 streamed live from the new PLL facility on Eighth Street East.
Meanwhile, the nonprofit is asking men and women to go into their closets, jewelry boxes, and attics to look for designer and one-of-a-kind items to donate to the auction. Items are accepted each Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 3pm till 5pm at 801 Broadway, Sonoma. Petslifeline.org
