SDC: See the plans, take the survey

The Sonoma Developmental Center (SDC) Specific Plan project has developed three land use alternatives for the 900-acre property. You can access the full alternatives report and other project materials here.
The final Preferred Plan, which must be submitted to the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors early next year, will likely to be a combination of the three alternatives. The County says it will also consider input to a survey.
The survey should take about 10 minutes, and will remain open until the end of the day Tuesday, November 23.

The county says the state is requiring the SDC Specific Plan to be financially feasible, but much of the cost in development is the result of neglect by the state of the current building and infrastructure. The county and state should step up and allocate some of the federal infrastructure funds for SDC infrastructure improvements.
