Game back on: Sonoma Stompers return to Arnold Field

The Sonoma Stompers host opening day at Arnold Field on June 2, the team’s first game in two years. The local nine returns to live action as a member of the California Collegiate League.

Founded in 1993, the 11-team California Collegiate League is a premier college summer baseball destination. The Stompers will compete in its Northern Division, against the Healdsburg Prune Packer, Lincoln Potters, Solano Mudcats, and Walnut Creek Crawdads.

Stompers include Sonoma’s Gavin Rognlien, now at Santa Clara University, and Maxx Castellucci, a Justin Sienna grad now at Sacramento City College.
