Pitching in

Posted on August 4, 2022 by Sonoma Valley Sun

It was Rotary Night at Arnold Field when the Sonoma Stompers played the Novato Knicks. Scott Murray, president of the Rotary Club of Sonoma Valley, threw out the first pitch.

The club donated $100 for every run scored during the July 28 game to the Sonoma Valley Mentoring Alliance. It was a good night for the nonprofit: the Stompers and the Knicks combined for 16 runs, resulting in a donation of $1,600 to the Mentoring Alliance.

The Rotary Club of Sonoma Valley is proud to support the mentors and kids from this great organization, said Murray, with SVMA’s Susie Gallo.
